Microsoft Is Raising Xbox Prices In The US Again

Microsoft Is Raising Xbox Prices In The US Again

Microsoft has announced another price increase for its Xbox consoles in the US, effective October 3rd. The most affordable Xbox Series S will now cost $400, while the top-of-the-line Xbox Series X with a disc drive and 2TB storage will be priced at $800. This is the second price hike by Microsoft this year, which the company attributes to "changes in the macroeconomic environment." Prices outside the US will remain unchanged. The trend of increasing prices for consoles, games, and accessories has been prevalent across the gaming industry, with Sony and Nintendo also raising prices recently. This is believed to be connected to the impact of tariffs imposed by the current US administration.
