Vingegaard keeps Vuelta lead after team suffer bike thefts but Gaudu closes gap

Jonas Vingegaard maintains his overall lead in the Vuelta a España despite his Visma-Lease a Bike team suffering a theft of several bikes from their equipment truck. On stage three, David Gaudu won the stage, with Mads Pedersen finishing second and Vingegaard third. The stage was a medium-mountain route of 139km from San Maurizio Canavese to Ceres in Italy. Despite the team's setback, Vingegaard seemed largely unaffected, finishing the stage on the wheels of the stage winner and runner-up.
