Jasper Philipsen sprints to victory on stage 19 to complete Vuelta hat-trick
Jasper Philipsen, a Belgian rider, sprinted to victory on stage 19 of the 2025 Vuelta a España, completing his third stage win in the race. The 160km stage was relatively flat, and Philipsen, riding for Alpecin-Deceuninck, surged to the front near the finish and held off Denmark's Mads Pedersen, who finished second, and Venezuela's Orluis Aular, who came in third. Meanwhile, Jonas Vingegaard, the overall race leader, added four seconds to his lead over Joño Almeida.
