Nottingham Forest continue spree with £26m signing of Arnaud Kalimuendo
Nottingham Forest have signed striker Arnaud Kalimuendo from Rennes for around £26 million. Kalimuendo, who scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season, is the latest addition to Forest's squad after the arrivals of Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee, who joined for £37 million and £30 million respectively. Forest are also expected to sign Douglas Luiz from Juventus. Kalimuendo's signing provides Forest with additional attacking depth, joining Chris Wood and Taiwo Awoniyi. The club's pursuit of Rico Lewis, a 20-year-old England defender from Manchester City, appears to have stalled, as Lewis has expressed his desire to remain at City.
