Pokemon Legends: Z-A Celebrates Upcoming Launch With Lucha Libre Showdown

Pokemon Legends: Z-A, the upcoming Nintendo Switch game, is celebrating its launch with a special lucha libre wrestling event. The event will take place on September 25 at Arena Mexico in Mexico City and will feature four exhibition matches, including one by Mistico, a former WWE wrestler. Tickets for the event will be available soon, and the matches will also be streamed on the official Pokemon and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre YouTube channels. The announcement comes shortly after the reveal of a new Mega Evolution for the game's Hawlucha, a Pokemon with a luchador-inspired design. The Mega Evolution further enhances Hawlucha's wrestling theme, making it look ready for a main event match. Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set to launch on October 16 for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game will feature a departure from the traditional turn-based gameplay, introducing real-time battles and free-for-all showdowns that can be played by up to four players.
