Liverpool sign Alexander Isak in British transfer record £125m deal from Newcastle
Liverpool have signed Swedish striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United in a British transfer record £125 million deal. Isak has signed a six-year contract and will earn around £300,000 per week. The deal was completed on deadline day, but Liverpool's attempt to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guéhi fell through. The Premier League champions were unable to agree a deal with Palace for the defender, despite Guéhi undergoing a medical in anticipation of the move.
