We've Seen Doctor Doom in Action for 'Avengers: Doomsday'

Tonight at CinemaCon, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige was joined by his own Avengers roster of talent: Doomsday directors Anthony and Joe Russo; Robert Downey Jr.; and Steve Rogers himself, Chris Evans, to talk a little bit about the arrival of one of the most anticipated films of the year. But they did more than talk: they showed us a first look at a brand new trailer for the film, which is packed with dread, action, and, of course, Doctor Doom. It starts on the sign for Xavier’s School. It’s on a rubble-filled floor. Professor X looks out the window and sees something massive coming towards him. It looks like he accepts his fate. “Something’s coming,” Doctor Doom says. “Something we may not be able to deter.” We see an image of him kneeling and looking up to the sky. “Before this day is done, we’ll be faced with an unthinkable decision.” We cut to Avengers Tower, which looks brand new with a large red and white A on the front. Thor is speaking. “I’ve fought with many warriors in my time,” he begins, surrounded by the Thunderbolts, Captain America, Bucky, Ant-Man, and more. “They were far stronger than all us put together.
