The Pixel 10 is the first non-Pro model with a telephoto lens

The Google Pixel 10, the latest addition to the Pixel smartphone series, is the first non-Pro model to feature a telephoto lens. The $799 handset is powered by the Tensor G5 chip and boasts a 48MP 5x telephoto lens, which can produce 10x optical image quality using a combination of optical zoom, cropping, and computational photography. The phone also introduces Qi2 wireless charging with Google's MagSafe-like Pixelsnap accessory ecosystem, including cases, a charging puck, a charging stand, and a ring stand. The Pixel 10 is rated for over 30 hours of battery life and can charge to 55% in 30 minutes. The Tensor G5 chip powers new on-device AI features, such as Magic Cue, which offers proactive suggestions, and Camera Coach, which provides framing and composition recommendations. Other AI-driven features include emotion-based voice assistant control and a private journaling app with AI-generated prompts. The Pixel 10 is available in obsidian, frost, lemongrass, and indigo colors and features a satin metal finish with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
