Apple is giving iPhone 14 and 15 users another free year of satellite features

Apple is extending the free trial period for satellite connectivity features on iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 models. Initially, the Emergency SOS service via satellite was announced to be free for two years after activation on iPhone 14 and newer models. However, Apple has now added an additional free year, meaning the trial period will now last until November 2026 for the earliest adopters. Additionally, with the release of iOS 18, Apple expanded its satellite messaging features, allowing users to text friends and family when off the grid. The new Apple Watch Ultra 3 will also have satellite connectivity features.
