Brendon McCullum brings David Saker back into England camp for Ashes series

Brendon McCullum has finalized his coaching team for the Ashes series, with the return of Australian David Saker as a special skills consultant. Saker has been part of England's setup in three previous Ashes series, including the wins in 2010-11 and 2013, and the drawn series in 2023. He will be with the England Lions squad from the start of November and will remain with the senior team throughout the five-test series. Additionally, Tim Southee, who has held the same title since May, will continue to work with the team until the end of the first test in Perth, after which he will depart to fulfill playing obligations in the International League T20 in the United Arab Emirates.
