Olympic champion freeskier Eileen Gu injured while training in New Zealand
Eileen Gu, the Olympic freestyle gold medalist, has sustained an injury while training in New Zealand. The 21-year-old American-born Chinese skier was training at the Cardrona Skifield on New Zealand's South Island when the incident occurred on August 15. Gu was subsequently flown to Christchurch the following day for medical scans.
