What's next for the Brewers? Baseball's best regular-season team ends season in familiar spot

The Milwaukee Brewers, who had the best regular-season record in Major League Baseball, were swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series (NLCS). This marks the third time in the last four seasons that the Brewers have been eliminated from the playoffs in the NLCS. The Brewers will now face familiar offseason questions, including the future of star players such as Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, and Josh Hader. The team's offensive struggles during the playoffs will also be scrutinized, as they failed to consistently produce runs against the Dodgers' pitching staff. Despite the disappointing end to their season, the Brewers remain one of the top teams in the National League and will likely be contenders again in 2023. However, the team will need to address their roster and lineup to take the next step and reach the World Series for the first time since 1982.
