Battlefield 6 gets an October 10 release date
Battlefield 6, the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise, is set to release on October 10, 2022, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will feature a range of familiar multiplayer modes, including Conquest, Rush, and Breakthrough, as well as a new mode called Escalation. The trailer showcased new locations in Egypt, Gibraltar, Tajikistan, and Brooklyn, as well as a remake of Operation Firestorm from Battlefield 3. Players will have access to four familiar classes: Assault, Support, Recon, and Engineer, with new features like Drag and Revive and wall-mounting weapons. The game will also offer opportunities for high-tech environmental destruction. Battlefield 6 will have two open beta weekends on August 9-10 and August 14-17, allowing fans to get a taste of the game before its official release.
