Jessica Hull breaks Australian mile record at London Diamond League meet
Jessica Hull, an Olympic silver medalist, broke the Australian and Oceanian mile records at the London Diamond League meet. However, she finished as the runner-up to Ethiopia's Gudaf Tsegay. Meanwhile, Rose Davies, from Newcastle, smashed her own national and Oceanian 5000m records while finishing third. Despite not winning, the Australian athletes put in impressive performances, with Hull setting new mile records and Davies breaking her own 5000m marks in front of a large crowd at the London Stadium.
