Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Will Have You Assemble Your Team Very Literally
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a new fighting game from Arc System Works, is putting a unique twist on tag team mechanics. Instead of starting with a full team, players will gradually assemble their team of four Marvel characters over the course of a match. Successful throws, special attacks, and stage transitions will add new characters to the player's team, which in turn increases their maximum health, special gauge, and access to assist attacks. The game also features standard fighting game mechanics like special moves, super moves, and auto-combos, as well as unique attacks for each character. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be playable for the first time at Evo 2025 and is slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2026.
