Stephen Colbert: ‘Our Nation Is at War with Oregon. It’s Waregon.’

In a recent episode of "The Late Show," host Stephen Colbert joked about President Trump's latest target: the state of Oregon. Colbert mocked the president's plan to deploy federal troops to the "war-ravaged" Pacific Northwest, describing it as a "war with Oregon" or "Waregon." The segment was a response to the ongoing protests in Portland, where federal agents have clashed with demonstrators. Colbert's tongue-in-cheek commentary highlighted the perceived disconnect between the administration's rhetoric and the actual situation on the ground. The host's satirical take on the president's approach to the Portland protests underscores the growing political tensions and the use of strong language to describe the events. Colbert's humorous take on the situation aimed to provide a lighthearted perspective on the ongoing debates surrounding the federal government's response to the protests in Oregon.
