Costco to sell weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy at half-price
Costco has partnered with Novo Nordisk to offer its members access to GLP-1 weight-loss drugs, such as Ozempic and Wegovy, at approximately half the standard price. The move comes as these medications have become increasingly scarce, leading to soaring prices. Costco's prescription program allows members with a valid prescription to purchase a four-week supply for $499, but this offer is only available to those paying out of pocket, as many insurance providers still do not cover these treatments. This agreement aims to provide more affordable access to these in-demand weight-loss drugs for Costco's members.
