Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Will No Longer Paywall Any Launch-Day Vampire Clans

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 developer The Chinese Room has announced that the previously paywalled Lasombra and Toreador vampire clans will now be available in the base game, allowing players to choose from six distinct clans at launch. This decision was made in response to fan backlash, as the clans were originally only accessible through additional DLC packs. The game will also feature a flexible system that allows players to unlock unique skills associated with each clan, though unlocking powers unrelated to their chosen clan will require a deeper investment of resources. Additionally, The Chinese Room revealed two upcoming Story Packs, "Loose Cannon" and "The Flower and the Flame," which will explore the perspectives of Camarilla Sheriff Benny Muldoon and Primogen Ysabella Moore, respectively, and will be included in the Premium Edition's Expansion Pass. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is set to launch on October 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
