Google and NBCUniversal reach multi-year agreement for YouTube TV
Google and NBCUniversal have reached a multi-year agreement to keep NBCUniversal's programs, including Sunday Night Football and other sports offerings, on YouTube TV. The deal ensures that YouTube TV subscribers will continue to have access to NBCUniversal's portfolio, including NBC, Telemundo, Bravo, CNBC, Golf Channel, E!, Oxygen True Crime, MSNBC, USA, Syfy, and Universo. Additionally, the relaunched NBC Sports Network will be available on YouTube TV later this fall. The agreement also allows for the integration of Peacock as an add-on subscription through YouTube Primetime Channels. However, Google and YouTube TV were unable to reach a similar deal with Univision, the largest Spanish-language broadcaster in the US, leading to the potential removal of Univision's programs from YouTube TV's standard package.
