John Daly claims unwanted slice of golf history with record 19 on single hole
John Daly, a two-time major winner, has set an unwanted record in the PGA Tour Champions by scoring a staggering 19 on the par-5 12th hole at the Sanford International. This is the highest single-hole score ever recorded in the PGA Tour Champions. Daly found the water seven times during his disastrous round, breaking his previous personal record of 18 on the par-5 sixth hole at the 1998 Bay Hill Invitational. This unfortunate incident has cemented Daly's place in golf history, albeit for the wrong reasons.
