The Witcher 3's Last Patch Is Delayed

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a critically acclaimed game, will receive a final update that will allow console players to enjoy many of the mods used by PC players. However, the highly anticipated feature has been delayed and is now expected to roll out in 2026, according to CD Projekt Red. The developer has apologized for the delay and promised to share more details as the release approaches. The Witcher 3 mods have been available on PC for almost as long as the game itself, and while there will be some limitations on the mods that console gamers can use, the vast majority of them should be available for free once players get a mod.io account. Alongside the update, a concert featuring the music of The Witcher 3 has begun a US tour, and fans can look forward to the release of The Witcher Season 4 on Netflix on October 30, with Liam Hemsworth taking over the lead role from Henry Cavill. CD Projekt Red is also currently developing The Witcher 4, although no release date has been announced yet.
