Alex de Minaur eases into last eight of US Open with straight sets win

Alex de Minaur, the Australian No. 1 and 8th seed, breezed through to the quarterfinals of the US Open with a straight-sets victory over Swiss qualifier Leandro Riedi. Despite not playing at his absolute best, de Minaur's superior quality proved too much for his opponent, who committed a significant number of unforced errors.
