Ecovacs has a new window-cleaning robot called the Winbot W2S Pro Omni, bringing some of the better features of the Winbot W3 Omni down to its midrange squeegie bot. That includes battery power, faster cleaning, and higher suction to keep it from tumbling off your window as it works. The W2S Pro Omni looks a lot like its predecessor, the W2S Omni. It’s a two-part machine: the square-shaped bot with a handle on one side and cleaning pads and tank-style treads on the other, with bump sensors on the outside to tell it when it’s hit the edge of your window. That’s tethered to a base station that you can either hang the robot on the back of when it’s not in use or insert into to clean its pad. Inside the base station are four scrubbers—up from two in the W2S and matching the number found in the base station of the W3 Omni I reviewed a few months back—that automatically clean the pad between uses.
