Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 2 Goes Live With Some Issues, But Still Eclipses 300,000 Users On Steam
Battlefield 6's open beta has kicked off its second weekend, but the launch was marred by some technical issues. The developer, Battlefield Studios, acknowledged "ongoing matchmaking issues" for some players on certain playlists and is actively working to resolve the problem. Additionally, DLSS/DLAA on PC is currently unavailable, and the team is working on a fix. Despite these challenges, the open beta has been a success, with the game reaching over 300,000 peak concurrent players on Steam on August 14. For the second weekend, the beta added a new map, Empire State, and a new matchmaking feature called "Custom Search." The full game is scheduled for release on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
