Battlefield 6 Season 1 Release Date And Free Content Revealed

Battlefield 6's first season, starting on October 28, will feature three phases: Rogue Ops, California Resistance, and Winter Offensive. The Rogue Ops phase adds the Blackwell Fields map, a new mode called Strikepoint, and several new weapons. The California Resistance phase introduces the Eastwood map, a limited-time Sabotage mode, and new weapons and attachments. The Winter Offensive phase highlights the new limited-time event map, Ice Lock Empire State, as well as the Ice Lock event and an Ice Climbing Axe melee weapon. All of this content will be free as part of Battlefield 6's live-service approach. The game is set to launch on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and while it has generated considerable pre-release hype, experts do not expect it to outsell its main rival, Call of Duty, this year.
