Diablo 4 Season 10 Finally Ditches Boss Immunity Phases
Diablo 4 Season 10, set to launch on September 23, will introduce a significant change to boss fights - the removal of boss immunity phases. Previously, endgame bosses would become invincible for extended periods, frustrating players who could easily defeat them otherwise. In the new season, bosses will instead gain a shield that can still be broken through by powerful characters, providing a meaningful challenge for all players. Additionally, the season will feature a new boss, Bartuc, in the Infernal Hordes activity, which will also utilize the shield mechanic. Diablo 4 Season 10, titled "Infernal Chaos," will also introduce a new, more powerful type of Unique item called Chaos Armor. Meanwhile, Blizzard continues to tease major changes for the game, even though the next expansion is not expected until 2026.
