Atari Unveils Intellivision Sprint, A Second Attempt At Reviving The Brand

Atari has announced the Intellivision Sprint, a new console that celebrates the 45th anniversary of the original Intellivision system. The Intellivision Sprint is a joint effort between Atari and Plaion, and it features 45 classic Intellivision games, including titles like Astrosmash, Boulder Dash, and Sea Battle. The console comes with two wireless controllers and a USB-A port for library expansion. Atari VP Matt Burett stated that the company is thrilled to become the caretakers of the Intellivision brand and to bring back this innovative console for fans to experience once again. The Intellivision Sprint is set to launch on December 5, 2023, for a price of $150.
