Beyerdynamic launches two new wireless headsets at Gamescom

Beyerdynamic, the audio equipment manufacturer, has announced the launch of two new wireless gaming headsets, the MMX 150 and MMX 230, at Gamescom 2025. The headsets will be available exclusively in Europe and Canada. The MMX 150 is designed for casual gaming and everyday listening, offering up to 50 hours of battery life and EQ customization through the Beyerdynamic app. It features a detachable voice microphone with sidetone and 40mm drivers, along with plug-and-play compatibility for use across consoles, mobile devices, and PCs. The MMX 230 is the flagship model, featuring a user-replaceable battery that provides up to 60 hours of listening time. It boasts Bluetooth 6.0 for low-latency connections and a microphone with environmental noise cancellation. The 40mm drivers are tuned for spatial sound, enhancing directional cues for gamers. Both headsets will be available in black or white and come with a low-latency USB-C dongle, a USB-A adapter, and a 1.8-meter USB-C to 3.5mm cable. The MMX 150 will be priced at $250 CAD, while the MMX 230 will cost $350 CAD. The headsets are scheduled to be available for purchase through Beyerdynamic's online store in Q4 of 2025, but their availability in the United States remains unclear.
