As Variety first reported, updated rates went live on the streaming service’s plan help page on Thursday. A Netflix spokesperson confirmed to CNET that the new pricing goes into effect immediately for new customers, and in the coming weeks, current subscribers will see receive an email a month before the changes apply to their bill.
