Vollering in nasty crash as Wiebes wins Tour de France Femmes stage three

Demi Vollering, a general classification (GC) rider, crashed 3.6 km from the finish line of stage three in the Tour de France Femmes. Vollering landed on her back and left side, and hit her head, but managed to finish the stage. The stage was won by Lorena Wiebes of Team SD Worx-ProTime. Marianne Vos finished second, but reclaimed the yellow jersey. Vollering's chances of continuing in the race are uncertain after the nasty crash.
