Olympic medallist Ben Proud becomes first British athlete to join Enhanced Games
Ben Proud, an Olympic silver medallist swimmer from Great Britain, has become the first British athlete to join the Enhanced Games. This event allows participants to take performance-enhancing drugs, which Proud believes opens up new avenues for athletes to excel. Proud won the silver medal in the 50m freestyle event at the Paris Olympics last summer. While some may view the Enhanced Games as undermining clean sport, Proud does not share this concern and sees it as an opportunity to compete in a different way.
