Catch Terminator 2 on the big screen, and even in 3D He said he would be back. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is gracing theaters once again later this year to celebrate the film's 35th anniversary. James Cameron's Oscar-winning action masterpiece was originally released on Aug. 29, 1991. StudioCanal, Fathom Entertainment, and Rialto Pictures will bring the film to U.S. theaters starting on Aug. 28, as reported by Deadline. Global dates will vary between late August and early September, depending on region. Terminator 2 is the sequel to the 1984 original and is widely considered to be the best in the franchise, of which there are six movies in total. Across its many re-releases over the years, Terminator 2 has garnered over $500 million at the global box office. T2 was made for theaters, and our lovingly-prepared 3D version, coming back to the big screen, is the absolute best way to see the film. Terminator 2 is still an impressive movie, even three and a half decades later. Turning Arnold Schwarzenegge
