Phillies’ Kyle Schwarber becomes 21st in MLB history with four homers in a game
Kyle Schwarber, the Philadelphia Phillies' slugger, made history on Thursday night by hitting four home runs in a single game, becoming the 21st player in MLB history to achieve this feat. Schwarber's impressive performance included a Phillies-record nine RBIs, leading his team to a 19-4 victory over the Atlanta Braves. With this accomplishment, Schwarber took the outright lead for home runs in the National League with 49, and moved within one of the major league lead. He currently leads the majors with 119 RBIs. This four-homer game is the first for the Phillies since Mike Schmidt in 1976, demonstrating Schwarber's significance in the team's offensive efforts.
