Xbox cloud games will soon follow you just about everywhere

Microsoft has launched a new service for Xbox Insiders that allows cloud-playable games and play histories to be accessed through the official Xbox PC app. This service includes console exclusives and hundreds of other game releases, both owned by the player and available through Game Pass. The key feature is that recently-played games will follow users across devices, including Xbox consoles, PCs, and Windows handhelds. This will make it easier for players to resume their games, even when switching between platforms. The "play history" section of the PC app and Xbox console UI will display cloud games as recently-played titles, and this list will follow the user everywhere. The redesigned library feature in the Xbox app also allows games purchased from various platforms to be launched from the same place. This new service is part of Xbox Cloud Gaming and enables users to start a game on one device and finish it on another, even if the title is not natively available on the second platform.
