Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN Streaming Service Subscriptions Are About to Cost More

Disney is increasing the monthly subscription prices for its streaming services, Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+. Starting on December 8, 2022, the Disney+ base plan will increase from $7.99 to $10.99 per month, while the ad-free plan will rise from $10.99 to $13.99 per month. The Hulu (ad-supported) plan will go up from $6.99 to $7.99 per month, and the Hulu (no ads) plan will increase from $12.99 to $14.99 per month. The Hulu + Live TV plan (with ads) will see a more significant jump, rising from $69.99 to $74.99 per month, and the Hulu + Live TV plan (no ads) will increase from $75.99 to $82.99 per month. Additionally, the ESPN+ standalone plan will rise from $6.99 to $9.99 per month, or $99.99 annually. These price increases are part of Disney's strategy to drive more revenue from its streaming services as it continues to invest in content and technology to compete in the crowded streaming market.
