What is Laura Loomer?

The article discusses Laura Loomer, a controversial figure who has exerted significant influence over the Trump administration. Loomer, a self-proclaimed "Jeffrey Epstein truther," has been instrumental in the removal of at least 15 individuals from Trump's second administration, according to ABC News. This level of influence from an online personality with no government experience is unprecedented in Washington, where traditional norms have been upended. The article suggests that if Loomer tweets her displeasure at a random official, they may soon find themselves out of a job. The article also notes that Loomer's ability to directly contact the president, such as by calling his cellphone, is an "insane proposition" given his position as the President of the United States.
