Steelers beat Vikings in Dublin after Pittsburgh’s Thompson injured in robbery

The Steelers defeated the Vikings 24-21 in the first NFL regular-season game held in Ireland. Pittsburgh's backup quarterback was reportedly "jumped and robbed" on Friday, but the team still managed to secure the victory. Kenneth Gainwell ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns for the Steelers, while DK Metcalf had a standout performance with 126 receiving yards, including an 80-yard touchdown. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers secured his first international win in front of a predominantly pro-Steelers crowd of 74,512 at Croke Park. The Vikings' Carson Wentz had a mixed performance, throwing for 350 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
