Disallowing Fulham goal at Chelsea was wrong, admits referees’ chief Howard Webb

Howard Webb, the head of England's refereeing body, has admitted that the decision to disallow Fulham player Josh King's goal against Chelsea was a mistake. During the Premier League match, King scored a goal, but it was ruled out after the referee, Robert Jones, was asked to review the play on the pitchside monitor. The decision was made because Fulham player Muniz was deemed to have stepped on the foot of Chelsea's Chalobah. However, Webb has now stated that the guidance provided to officials was not properly followed, and the goal should have been allowed to stand.
