Anbernic's modern-day Nintendo DS dupe is cheaper than the original

Anbernic, a company known for remaking classic gaming handhelds, has announced the Anbernic RG DS, a clone of the Nintendo DS. The device is set to cost less than $100, which is cheaper than the original Nintendo DS's MSRP of $149.99. Anbernic has teased a possible new chip and has shown off four different color variants, including black/red, teal, white, and transparent. The Anbernic RG DS will compete with the more premium Ayn Thor, which starts at $250. It's important to note that Anbernic had previously paused shipments from its Chinese warehouses to US customers due to tariff changes, but this notice has since been removed, though the Trump administration has announced another retaliatory tariff on all Chinese goods.
