If You Preordered Battlefield 6 Directly From EA, You've Been Compensated

Electronic Arts (EA) is compensating players who pre-ordered Battlefield 6 directly through their PC app due to an outage that left them unable to play on launch day. To make amends, EA is providing affected players with 12 double hardware XP boosts, 12 double career XP boosts, and a free premium battle pass for Battlefield 6's upcoming Season 1. Those who already own the Season 1 battle pass will receive the Season 2 battle pass for free instead. Despite the EA App issues, Battlefield 6's overall launch was relatively smooth, with the game surpassing 747,000 concurrent players on Steam at its peak on launch day. While the campaign received criticism, the multiplayer package was praised for its excellent chaos and gameplay. However, some players did encounter a few other minor issues, such as a bug affecting jump momentum and an out-of-bounds exploit, which EA is working to address.
