Columbus Crew’s Darlington Nagbe to retire after four MLS Cups in 15 seasons

Darlington Nagbe, a renowned midfielder in Major League Soccer (MLS), has announced his retirement at the end of the current season. Nagbe, 35, has had an illustrious career, winning four MLS Cup championships with three different teams. He currently ranks fifth in MLS history with 444 regular-season matches played, and has contributed 38 goals and 48 assists since being drafted second overall by the Portland Timbers in 2011. Nagbe's decision to retire comes after a successful 15-season stint in the league, during which he has established himself as one of the most accomplished players in MLS history.
