Adobe adds one of its most-requested updates to Photoshop

Adobe has introduced two major updates to Photoshop, catering to the most requested features by users. The first is an image upscaling tool called "Generative Upscale," which uses AI to enhance the quality of old or grainy photos. This feature is available on the desktop version of Photoshop and the web-based platform. The second update is "Harmonize," a feature that simplifies the process of adding objects to a photograph. Harmonize automatically adjusts the lighting and other effects to blend the new object seamlessly into the scene. This feature is available on desktop, web, and the Photoshop mobile app. Additionally, Adobe has improved Photoshop's ability to remove objects from images, replacing the removed content with AI-generated elements to maintain the scene's cohesiveness. Users can also choose between different Firefly Image Models when using Generative Fill and Expand. These updates cater to both traditional photo editors and modern digital artists, addressing the need for improved image manipulation and enhancement capabilities within the Photoshop ecosystem.
