The new locations, spread across Texas, New Mexico, and Ohio, are expected to have a combined capacity of 7 gigawatts of power, equivalent to the power consumption of some cities. This expansion represents a significant step in OpenAI's pledge to invest half a trillion dollars in artificial intelligence infrastructure within the country.
