TikTok merges its Core Product and Trust & Safety teams

TikTok has announced a significant organizational change, merging its Core Product and Trust & Safety teams. As a result, Adam Presser, the head of Operations and Trust & Safety, will now become the general manager of TikTok USDS, a separate entity within TikTok responsible for safeguarding U.S. national security interests. This restructuring aims to streamline the platform's operations and enhance its approach to content moderation and user safety. By integrating the Core Product and Trust & Safety teams, TikTok aims to ensure a more seamless and efficient process in addressing potential security concerns and maintaining the platform's integrity.
