Sennheiser's HDB 630 headphones combine wireless convenience with wired lossless audio

Sennheiser has unveiled its latest premium wireless headphones, the HDB 630, which offer a unique combination of wireless convenience and wired lossless audio. The HDB 630 inherits the chassis design from the company's Momentum 4 headphones but features a new acoustic system for "focused listening." The headphones support up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution audio via wired USB-C or 3.5mm connections, and they also come with a USB-C transmitter dongle for wireless high-resolution audio with aptX Adaptive. Additional features include a Crossfade function, a Parametric Equalizer, and the ability to share EQ presets via QR code. The HDB 630 boasts impressive battery life, with up to 60 hours of use with active noise cancellation enabled, and a 10-minute quick charge can provide seven hours of playback. The headphones are priced at $499.95 and will be available for pre-order starting today, with shipping scheduled to begin on October 21.
