Honda wants you to teach its new robot lawnmower

Honda is set to unveil its new ProZision series of riding mowers at the Equip Exposition 2025 in Kentucky, including a model that can operate autonomously. The ProZision Autonomous model requires a rider to teach it mowing routes and patterns, which it then locks in using satellite navigation. After the initial setup, users can control the mower's operations through an accompanying app. The mower is aimed at professional landscapers, with a 60-inch cutting width and a runtime of up to 15 acres, designed to address the challenges faced by the industry, such as an aging workforce and labor shortages. While Honda has not yet revealed the pricing for the Autonomous unit, it has stated that the manual ProZision models will cost $32,999, with the Autonomous model expected to be available in the US in summer 2026.
