Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Fans Left Confused After Half Baked Bundle Adds Dave Chappelle Months After Activision Ditched Carry Forward Skins

Update (3/31 at 3:54pm PT) - The Call of Duty Studio Community Teams took to X/Twitter to share a bit more about its plans for 4/20, confirming there will be no events or limited-time modes and that the Black Ops 7 Half Baked Tracer Pack featuring Dave Chapelle will be the only celebration for the day. "We know a lot of players enjoy them, but we've scaled back the 4/20 celebrations this year to a single bundle for fans of the Half Baked movie," the teams wrote. "No events or LTMs this time." In 2025, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 featured such festivities for 4/20 as The Joint Operations Limited Time Mode, which added a +420 Score Bonus, 3rd person, Visual Impairment, Double Health, Hardcore, Paranoia Sounds, Low Gravity, Double Jump, and Increased Movement Speed. Warzone also had a similar mode called High Trip Resurgence that challenged players to "smoke" the competition. This was all in addition to a High Art event with a Seth Rogen skin for the event pass, a Blaze of Glory event, and even a transformation of Nuketown into Blazetown. Call of Duty fans are up in arms after Activision announced a first look at its upcoming Black Ops 7 Half Baked Tracer Pack featuring Dave Chappelle.
