Sony said it is continuing to "evolve" its PlayStation Portal remote player, with a new system software update introducing improvements designed to "deliver higher visual fidelity, smoother interactions, and a more seamless overall experience." The update — which is rolling out now — comes as Sony announced its cloud streaming monthly users are up 162% year-over-year. Over 50% of Portal users are also PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, a stat Sony claimed shows a "growing engagement with the cloud experience."
