‘It’s a red’: Enzo Maresca fumes after Bayern defender Tah avoids sending-off

In the Champions League match between Bayern Munich and Chelsea, Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca was furious with the Spanish referee, José Sánchez Martínez, for only booking Bayern defender Jonathan Tah for a cynical challenge on Chelsea's João Pedro during the first half. Maresca believed Tah should have been sent off for the foul, stating that "to give you a red card, they need to see your blood." Despite Tah's challenge, Chelsea managed to score a goal through Cole Palmer, but ultimately lost the match 3-1 to the Bundesliga champions.
