Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Mirage Discovery Tour Arrives As A Free Mobile App
Ubisoft has released a new free mobile app called Discovery Tour: Medieval Baghdad, which is based on the historical setting of Assassin's Creed Mirage. The app offers two modes: the more educational "Access Codex" mode, which provides detailed information on the history, art, and culture of 9th-century Baghdad, and the "Explore Baghdad" mode, which features a narrative-driven journey through the city with 360-degree exploration and mini-games. The app was developed in collaboration with UK firm Sugar Creative and also has a web version, although it was down at the time of writing. Ubisoft has a history of including high levels of historical detail in its Assassin's Creed games, and the Discovery Tour series is a way to present this content in a more educational format, stripped of the combat and high-stakes storylines.
